Welcome to the Corporate Wars! In this competition, you and your team will navigate through four rounds, each designed to test your strategic skills and business acumen. This immersive 3-day business simulation will challenge your decision-making abilities as you bid on assets, make strategic investments, negotiate sales, and present your financial outcomes.

Corporate Wars provides a realistic business environment where participants can apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, enhancing their understanding of market dynamics, financial management, and strategic planning.

Competition Rounds (Example Case)

Round 1: Auction Round

Objective: To secure an island through bidding.

In this round, participants will engage in a bidding process to acquire an island. Each team will be provided with a set amount of purchase power to participate in the auction. All teams will successfully acquire an island during the bidding process. Once the auction round concludes, the teams proceed to the next round.

Round 2: Investing Round

Objective: To strategically invest in assets and resources.

In the investing round, teams will utilize the purchase power allocated to them during the auction round to invest in additional assets and resources to enhance their island. Teams can purchase add-ons such as infrastructure, amenities, or utilities to improve the value of their island. Additionally, teams have the option to pitch their ideas to investors for additional funding in exchange for equity.

Round 3: Distribution Round

Objective: To generate profit through sales.

In the distribution round, teams must sell the assets separately and resources acquired in the previous round to generate revenue. This round tests teams' sales and negotiation skills as they strive to maximize profits. The team that generates the highest profit will have highest score.

Round 4: Presentation Round

Objective: To showcase strategies, outcomes, and financial performance.

In the presentation round, teams will create a comprehensive presentation detailing their journey from the auction round to the distribution round. Teams must showcase detailed calculations of their purchases and sales, including the breakdown of expenses and profit. The team that achieves the break-even point faster and accumulates the highest profit within the timeline will get add on points.
